  1. WordWeb version 1.53 - Windows 3.1x and Windows 95 Edition.

  6. WordWeb is a powerful freeware thesaurus/dictionary for Windows. Files
  7. are supplied for both Windows 95 and Windows 3.1x.

  9. WordWeb is supplied on two zip files - you will need both WWEB953.ZIP and
  10. WWEBDAT.ZIP, unless you are upgrading in which case you just need 
  11. WWEB953.ZIP. Unzip both these files to the same directory.

  13. To use WordWeb run the WWEB.EXE (Windows 3.1) or WWEB32.EXE (Windows 95)
  14. programs. All the distribution files must be in the same directory the 
  15. first time you run WordWeb. After that they should all remain in the 
  16. same directory apart from WordWeb.DLL and WWeb32.DLL which you can copy
  17. to your Windows directory. The first time you run WordWeb it will set 
  18. itself up correcly. If you move any of the files after running the 
  19. program for the first time you will may be prompted to enter the 
  20. location to which you moved the files.

  22. If you have Windows 95 but wish to use WordWeb from Windows 3.1 programs
  23. e.g. MS Word 6, you will need WORDWEB.DLL in your Windows directory, but
  24. otherwise you can safely delete the Windows 3.1 files.

  26. You may use WordWeb free of charge for whatever you like - I hope you 
  27. enjoy the program. The program is 'bannerware' - I let you use it for 
  28. free in the hope that you may be interested in my other programs
